We are keen to support and encourage all members to play tennis and get involved in club activities, regardless of age or ability. However, we also recognise that as a beginner, improver or returner it can be daunting to be thrown into a fast-paced match alongside more experienced players. In an effort to ensure everyone feels comfortable, enjoys well-balanced games and has the opportunity to improve their skills, we run an extensive programme of coaching and club sessions catering for for a wide range of abilities.
|Saturday||9:30am - 12:00noon|
|Sunday||9:30am - 12:00noon|
|Tuesday||5:30pm - 10:00pm|
|Thursday||6pm - 10pm|
These are friendly, mix in sessions where you have the opportunity to play doubles with other members. The format is to play 7 games and then mix in with other courts and swap partners, so no one waits out for too long or plays with the same people all session. These sessions cater for a range of abilities but are not suitable for beginners as players are expected to be able to serve and maintain a rally. If you are a beginner, why not try our Rusty Rackets session on Sunday morning or Friendly Thursday/Friday sessions to hone your skills. You will be a club player in no time. Please note the club session on the first Sunday of the month is replaced by Monthly Club Tournament.
